A black celebrity/artist doesn't have to say anything. However, seeing as how most of them have rapped about the black struggle/plight of the disenfranchised and poor, they are black people, it was black people who gave them the ability to live their lavish lives, and they have massive platforms in which they can shed light on many issues in regards to what black people go through...they very likely should say something.

I don't know how y'all were raised, or how they were raised, but when you have the means to speak truth, then you speak truth. Simple as that. And if you're worried about losing your white fanbase, then you simply do not need to be rapping. Especially since rap/hip-hop was created to give the black culture a voice and rebel in the first damn place

There are 3 other officers who were accessories to the crime and likely won't receive charges.

They could be charged with accessory to 3rd degree murder but those are weak cases since it’s not legally viewed as intentional murder. Not stopping another cop from an over-use of force isn’t gonna be viewed as directly helping him commit the murder in court. “Overcharging” could weaken the perception of the case, confuses juries and makes any conviction less likely.

George Floyd isn't the only black person to be murdered by the hands of the police this year. this month. this week.

    There's plenty left to say.

For sure. At least this cop was charged and hopefully is convicted to serve as an example to other cops that they can’t get away with this.

There you go. Just proved my entire point. Done tryna reason with you. We on the same f***ing team but you tryna block my shot at the same time.

Violence isn’t necessary but it’s a constant. It’s just part of change. Slavery didn’t end because some niggas talked about it over some tea. Civil rights weren’t earned because two white dudes decided we should give blacks people more rights. This s*** ain’t gonna end over a couple tweets. Words only get you so far. Sooner or later, you have to take action.

Kap tried and look where that got him?

People have been trying. How you gonna use your words when they aren’t heard? You’re not providing legitimate solutions. You’re just saying “use words instead of violence.” Where is this being done. What words are being said. Who is saying them. If you got better ideas, actually articulate them rather than stare the same 3 sentiments over and over and over

never really followed kap story, didn't he kneel during the national anthem?

He sat, people got pissed, he knelt, still pissed people off and now he’s blackballed because the NFL doesn’t give a f*** about black people and sided with Trump.

How you gonna reason with the PD or politicians who are literally doing their best to protect law enforcement. To me it sounds like you’re living in a fantasy world. Not reality. Do your due diligence and come back to me when you can point to a single situation where violence wasn’t a byproduct of change. When you do, lemme know
