For starters, none of it really sounds like twee music to me and putting it next to indietronica is also some bs

For starters, none of it really sounds like twee music to me and putting it next to indietronica is also some bs
"laptop twee" was coined by friends& I'm p sure and yh the twee part only loosely applies to him, Worldpeace DMT, Femcels and maybe some Bassvictim. it kind of describes a certain 00s quirkiness a lot of these artists share, so I somewhat get it as a broader label even if not the most accurate.
I do think it's fair to call most of these artist indietronica tho, it's all electronic-infused indie and again v much a revival of 00s sounds and aesthetics

Indietronica is fine I guess, I’m not convinced over laptop twee tho
? By bassvictim has some twee pop esque moments but whenever I think of twee pop I think about advantage Lucy and none of them really have the characteristics I tend to associate with twee. That’s just me tho
