Whole bloody affair experience was great. Was awesome to see this s*** in theaters for the first time.
I haven’t seen Kill Bill in some years so I’m not even sure what got changed up other than the opening of the 2nd half.
My favorite Tarantino when showed as one movie

Anime had extra violence
Crazy 88 fight scene is in color and has extra violence also
Theory: Quentin is prepping the zeitgeist for his next movie that will be hella inflammatory
shame you had him play a twitch streamer bro
Reeves was so dogmatically stuck on recreating Fincher films near 1:1 (ie Zodiac and Se7en) he couldn’t see the obvious gold in having Dano be a more traditional Riddler throughout the film, just in its grounded and grungey context. We’d have been having some “is this up there with Ledger” discussions I think if he played it straight and we saw his face the whole time tbh. The motivation to make him the Zodiac Killer was a shirking of immense potential
And I say that without my comic book fan bias towards accuracy. Dano as Edward Enigma as he is in the diner scene but the whole movie? Imagine THAT character (obviously not the Ava Maria bullshit). Gold
What happened to the never before seen animation? Or was that the fortnight s*** @KnightmareLeague

The whole 3rd act is ass and doesn’t justify its existence
That’s when you re really checking your watch as the riddler gets taken out of the finale and has this stupid “sink the city” plot that totally goes against his “eat the rich” motive from earlier and the finale is just some 4chan nerds in combat gear, not very compelling at all

Anime section the whole elevator bit was new. And a lot of scenes especially during volume 1 had extra cuts / parts in it. Noticeably during the crazy 88 mega fight scene. A lot more death. For example when she cut someone completely in half was new: and it was in color for the first time
This whole thing is just promo and Paul dano is going to be the lead of his new movie

Ahhh ok thank you! Yeah I noticed the fight scene was in color now too. Didn’t realize the elevator scene was new
Facts so many people coming out the woodwork with a sudden change of opinion. Lol so fake

This would be 10/10
Twitter accounts with 0 credits in anything say crazier s***
misconstruing homage to how AI steals concepts and ideas with no understanding to what they actually mean is so f***ing stupid
I f*** wit Dano but I’m not gonna sit here and cry because he got hit with some “mean” comments. Dano prolly don’t even give a f*** lol
Tarantino a true a****** but I just copped a used Jackie Brown blu-ray for $6 at a used book store
Can’t wait to rewatch that classic
