Which is crazy cause his top 3 projects are all FWWM onward

TP: The Return, Mulholland Dr. and FWWM itself

If I had to guess I think Lost Highway or Wild At Heart are QT’s fav Lynch movies, what y’all think?

Swap FWWM with Lost Highway and I'd be on board.

Speaking of Lost Highway, that one got (unfairly) critcized for being too Tarantino-like iirc.

The scene where the mob guy is ranting about people driving reckless did really feel like it was written by Tarantino but still, overall QT could never capture the same type of dread and mystery that Lynch can.. then again few come close to him in that department

think they just had the some of the same inspirations truthfully. Q hates Lynch a lot from what i've read

What would potentially be some of their common inspirations

    I watched mulholland drive.
I then watched some lynch interviews and wanted to blow his brains out since he aint using them anyways.
I then went to sleep and had a wild ass dream that could only be described as lynchian, I then "got" Lynch. Still f***ing hate him

I watch a lot of Scorsese interviews recently and honestly it's a small world for all these directors. They bonded/befriend more than people would think

I feel like for PTA he might be insufferable on set in a kubrickian way, like slowly doing a million takes and adjusting things. But QT always just came across as one of those rich a****** kids out of LA lol

Whatever pta is doing on set to regularly get career best performances out of people is working
