Everesti feel like this has probably been said 100 times already. and i say this as someone who likes drake a lot more than pusha (although im a big fan of them both)
but theres a difference between a bunch of drafts of quentin & pusha going back and forth + one where pusha recorded a hook that quentin also recorded on leaked.is demos bought by discord groupbuys for songs in progress that will never see the light of day
and Drake spitting parts of Quentin's verses word for word on R.I.C.O, Know Yourself, 10 Bands
BUT the gotcha 'contradiction' moment, whether its apt or not, is too much to pass up so i get it

There is a difference but it’s not night and day
On Know Yourself and Rico you could argue that Quentin is still working in a hook like capacity kind of setting up the song
10 bands the only case of drake really spitting a Quentin verse, that’s the one where it’s pretty different

I mean those are the facts. Idk doesn’t bother me either if that was QM’s role for drake songs either. Some people argue differently and get into “wrote a verse” but I honestly dont know or care enough. I believe Drake writes all his bar heavy songs.

It's just funny because when it came to Drake, people used those references to cancel everything he has ever done, despite him writing entire songs for people but now, with Push, everyone has a convenient excuse. I don't care as well, just funny who they move the goalposts for.
