If Meek doesn’t do that/Drake don’t get in his feelings about it there’s no reason why he couldnt have a modest Dom Kennedy Danny Brown Larry June type career where he makes non mainstream mixtape rap and does his shows. Drake and Meek made him radioactive to the industry just to be back fake cool a few years later so fair play for him to drag this out with new interviews so he can plug whatever at the end lol.
