They still exist regardless and are gonna kill you living naturally

Yes 100s of millions are struggling hard so we can enjoy comfort

But back back in the day barely anybody was enjoying any comfort at all. It was almost everybody struggling hard

    Poverty is a complex issue

It's by definition relative, even standards of absolute poverty change

  • Feb 23, 2022

When one is raised out of absolute poverty but still has to work so many hours in the day to be able to take part in their societies cultural events, to what extent is that really that much better?

its not true at all to say poverty did not exist until modern capitalism

Yeah it's not true to say it didn't exist at all

But poverty definitely was greatly exacerbated by capitalism depending on how you define poverty

Man I’m not even aware this is a debate you regularly have nor am I trying to pick the “side” of capitalism.

Lmao I’m just literally answering your question of why fish live an existence of swimming all day not doing s*** and humans are trapped in the system of having to work for corporations. We in too deep in terms of the s*** that make us comfortable. No one stopping Niggas from going out and being butt naked all day hunting animals and eating wild fruits lol. I know me personally I’m not giving up iPhones Jordans and Popeyes to go be a wild forest man

That's what I said before and bro didn't understand what I meant

Poverty is in a sense relative to the times because what’s considered poverty was either a norm or above the standard of living at some point in time but i don’t get exactly what you’re saying. The earth does have beautiful landscapes but it also has harsh and terrible ones. Poverty is just the inability to obtain basic necessities of life or to have to massively struggle for them.
You can move to the jungle and live like a monkey if you want lmao

Poverty is also by definition relative not to the time but the society you live in, the poverty line is different in different countries, this is called "relative poverty". And this is for good reason. It takes a different amount of resources to take part in the society you live in in a dignified manner.

This is why any meaningful definition of poverty has to be relative imo, you can't let it be separate from the society you're in.

white people literally do this all the time

Not even the point was trynamake broski

I'm saying we have all the resources we need to make our lives sustainable for everyone and to also be in tune with the Earth and nature

But greed and capitalism (human traits) are what causes humans to go into poverty which in turn blemishes the Earth
