More Life was good but his last album sucked i thought maybe after the hype died down and a clear mind i could appreciate it but nah

There’s great songs on CLB but then there’s also some horrible/mid songs. I agree that More Life was good though

I mean Push didn’t do much press after the situation happened so this is people’s first opportunity to ask that question (Drake had his in 2019 when he did Rap Radar)

Many successful artists do press when they drop music: Bruno Mars, Adele, Beyonce, Rihanna, etc (shit even MJ and Prince did) So stop the whole “Drake don’t do it cause he doesn’t need to” s*** lol he just doesn’t do it to maintain his image and of course you won’t see that cause you will never take your bias out of it.

This is a lie. Pusha did over a dozen interviews after that beef lmao. He did radio interviews, print media interviews, late night TV show interviews and he spoke about Drake in all of them. Just go on YouTube and peep the date of many of the interviews he did addressing Drake and you'll see most of them happened way after the beef.

Drake has always had a sour relationship with media. This isn't news. He doesn't do press because he doesn't need to. You thinking he's ducking media to preserve his image is stupid. You're acting like he's a serial killer or a domestic abuser who is afraid of being asked questions. There's nothing anyone could ask him in an interview that would be damaging to his image. He simply doesn't like to do interviews and that's understandable, considering how big a celebrity he is. Other celebs move the same way, so it's not just a Drake thing.

there’s no point in talking to her about this. She’s just super bias and I don’t even know why I entertained her lol

Yet you never fail to quote me. Next time, don't.

Alright, using the other side’s playbook, so if Push is out of line for answering Drake questions in 2022, why is it ok for Drake to talk about Meek Mill and “Back to Back” in his rap radar interview? That was in 2015? Same amount of time passed.

…..oh yeah it’s because it was a big moment that people remember! what a concept!

We all know and understand that drake lost the beef. But y’all acting like being asked about a beef 4 years afterwards is normal and it’s maddening to me

No one is stupid enough to land an interview with Drake and then ask Drake about a beef that happened so long ago, especially when it hasn't been reignited in any way and he's already done an interview addressing everything there was to address with that situation. You wouldn't ask him any question you believe he'd deem unnecessary and you'd get dragged and get called unprofessional by your peers for asking such a dumb question. Pusha isn't a quarter of the mainstream force Drake is and people were on Speedy's head for still bringing Drake up.

My second point is that if Pusha didn't need to do press, he wouldn't be asked some of these stupid questions. Drake doesn't need to do press so you don't get to ask him stupid questions to begin with. And you're right, there's nothing wrong with doing press. My point is that Pusha shouldn't have to be asked about Drake anymore. There's obviously nothing there to talk about but there's nothing to talk about generally when it comes to Pusha so people will keep reverting back to the biggest thing that's ever happened in his career and that's his beef with Drake.

You could interview Drake for 3 hours and never bring up Pusha. You can't do that for a Pusha interview because there isn't anything interesting about him or his career to discuss outside of Drake.

Nothing interesting about being 1 half a legendary duo that DRAKE idolized and if Drake got interviewed by Charlamagne or Ak or Million Dollars they gone ask what they want lol Drake can’t get them fired or make them do cookie cutter interviews

Drake doesn't do interviews to begin with. That Rap Radar Interview was meant to cover his entire career. They legit were celebrating him being the artist of the decade once it started lmao. That's why he set up the interview in the first place and told them they could ask him whatever they wanted since he rarely does any interviews and a lot had happened that he had never directly addressed.

It would be different if Drake did interviews frequently and people were still asking him about beef from that far back and that's what people are doing with Pusha.

  • texasbrisket

Cause drake had done like 3 interviews between 2015-2019 lol

Look I think it’s fine that he did it. I just think it’s a non issue. Now if Pushas album comes out and he’s trying to reignite the Drake stuff, I think that would be corny.

Im guessing you've never done or know what an interview is.

If drake did interviews, under the same terms as Push, which he obviously doesn’t have to and won’t, yes they’d ask him about this because it was a big moment for him as well. I do think they will ask him about this in his next interview whenever that happens though.

That's never gonna happen because whoever Drake chooses to sit down with will know better.

I'm not blaming Pusha because he isn't bringing Drake up, the dummies asking him questions are and they shouldn't be doing that. It shows how weak they are as journalists to still be asking irrelevant s*** like that.

I'd get it if Drake had thrown shots recently or had brought the beef back up somehow. That's a worthy reason to ask him about Drake but bringing Drake up because you don't have s*** else to ask about is wack.

I agree with you there. It’s just very lazy journalism. And they’re trying to get a big quote and headline but Push has been pretty tasteful in how he answers.

Stop it. Pusha will get brought up in every Drake interview unless Drake specifically prevents those type of questions.

  • Feb 22, 2022

Pusha a cornball imo, and while he most certainly does look forward to discussing the beefs, he can say what he wants.

Person people should be mad at is the interviewers for baiting over something that's old and irrelevant

Nah, most the general audience have moved on from that.

Pusha is a small fly compared to Drake and the important part was that Drake and Ye ended their beef. Pusha isn't even a factor in Drakes life nor did they have a prior relationship.

If you are still seeing people push the Drake v. Pusha beef in 2022 its because that's the only way that tea can get outsiders to talk about the nigga.
