Did he mention anything about the Pusha x Madlib project that he said he was working on?
Nah, that didnt come up at all. Wish it did tho.
He was mostly just talking about things in the past, his process making music & his current main album.
Him n the interviewer have a long history too, so they were also talking about a lot of personal stuff as well.
So it was mostly like a friend to friend talk instead of an actual media press release.

You know what happens when GOOD music and MMG get together...
Here’s the video of what he said

‘I have to go sit in with Ye for a minute’
Ye can potentially hate it out of nowhere and make him start again, again
Which would mean another Daytona so I guess that’s not all bad
Y’all think ye still make beats from scratch?
he did on daytona so my guess yes he still does
at least it’s dropping this year and it ain’t just 7 songs shame he cut sociopath off daytona and it only dropped cos he was forced to drop it cos it leaked

I agree, i'm glad it's 12 songs this time. I wasn't a fan of the whole "7 song" experiment that he had everybody do back in 2018. I'm glad he's making a full-length project.
SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM THIS
I SWEAR IF IT’S CAP
Push ain’t announce the album for Friday
He was asked if he’s working on an album

He did in 2018, why wouldn’t he do it in 2021?
Also Push was talking about at first, he hated the beat for Come Back Baby
He was saying how he lowkey didn’t wonna rap on the beat and it kinda took a while to finish the track cus he just didn’t like it
But then after Kanye basically forcing him to finally do the track and going back and listening to it, it became one of his favorite
That’s just CRAZY to me because Come Back Baby is my fav track on Daytona and my favorite Push track OAT

One of the best flows of his career

i got that whole 7 songs thing i guess cos a lot of albums are bloated as it is but why do it with pusha when he had s*** like sociopath in the stash
Considering Kanye did half the album I doubt there’s much to go over just some tracklist ing stuff
If I had to assume they’re gonna end up adding a few more songs

Cause he made everybody drop 7 songs as a concept. They knew that going in
I wish they made more exceptions though

i know it was the concept lmao but i felt like it was unfair for pusha ngl when his album was great as it is and wouldn’t have been ruined with more songs
