I might even think that he has given Push better beats than Hov

feels like ye only really produced dreamin of the past and then they added his name to a few other songs so they could do the 50/50 ye/pharrell marketing as hype

Scrape it off low key my fav new song from this.

It's the opposite for me. That's the worst song on the album in my opinion, lol

"I Pray For You" is probably my favorite.

  • Apr 22, 2022

just finished. rock n roll is crazy. all the songs with ye on the credits were significantly better than just pharrell imo, but he has a much better ear for melody and consonant chords/notes. took till Open Air for pharrell to add depth and variance to a beat (others started ok but got repetitive and stale quickly)

I don't think that it's true but it would be interesting to put side to side all of the beats he gave to Hov and Push and compare them

Would pay scary amount of money for every song recorded during the making of this

I believe it's just these 12 tracks that he made during the album process. He didn't record like 25-30 songs and narrowed it down to 12.

    These are all the songs.

If you compare Yes beats on Blueprint and Daytons which are his most important contributions to Hovs and Pushas careers, I personally prefer the Daytona beats eventhough Blueprint ones are classic.

But the beats Kanye gave to Jay are so much more than the Blueprint ones like Lucifer might be one of my fav beat Kanye gave to Jay

It could have been pushed as a bonus song, but I'm not mad. It's still really good and shows he can still be relevant with the new school
