I'm confused arent yall agreeing? Lol
Fr wtf is bro talking about 😂
It's the versatility that edges it for me. I love Daytona but I'm glad they switched it up a bit here
Yeah that's fair, gotta give him props for that.
do you think it takes away from overall enjoyment of albums?
No, just would pick this album over Daytona any day.
More variety, more tracks, more interesting production and flows, lyrics are also insane. I just think it’s overall better

i am also loving this album
Think people are forgetting the first few listens of Daytona, s*** was legendary.
Daytona was a moment. It's Almost Dry is also very good but you can't compare this at all but thats just my opinion

Music sxn so used to arguing that niggas be on edge lmaooo
Like I said it before, this album gives me slight MBDTF vibes, like this s*** feels grandiose

I’m not agreeing. Ye already produced a classic for Push.
Ye not gonna lock himself in a room and produce tracks for no Push album. He gonna curate and add s*** and give him leftover s*** that he not using. Don’t mean he washed. Means he f*** wit Push. Niggas ain’t getting that from no Ye.
i don’t think it’s better or worse than daytona
i think it’s about the same level
both solid 8/10s
The thing about Daytona that makes it so iconic too is how wild Summer 2018 was. GOOD Music brought back GOOD Fridays but with albums instead of songs.
So I can understand why Daytona is somebody else's fave.
But I'm really just vibing with the songwriting and production on IAD heavy so it gets my vote
it is. an album came out today
and people are going through their first listen comparing it to an album from 4 years ago
Is this really a problem my guy?
Don’t see why you need to wait to compare
I’ve digested the album already
every time push does his joker laugh

If im being real, I get why everyones nostalgic over that era
but the trump s***/him wylding out so hard kinda put a damp on that era
idrc anymore! js its hard for me to be nostalgic for it
i still love daytona ksg and ktse tho
I been gettin' at these coins as I'm breakin' down the brick
Make the jump to each level, Super Mario exists
All the spoons that were bent, all the fumes through the vents
I don't care what they do, this ain't that, that ain't this
I'm the trap, I'm the fix, I'm the broker, I'm The Joker
In the deck, Arthur Fleck, when he's pissed, triple six

I thought you guys were both saying that Ye is still good as a producer tho
Is this really a problem my guy?

i do think that constant comparison is a problem in general yeah.

O then my bad lmfao
I just feel like he sounds younger and fresher here, this will be more relevant than Daytona which was more like a moment, it feels like he came back to his roots with the Clipse sound but it sounds brand new too
