That’s literally chronically online people though, like the smallest subset of an artist’s fanbase.

Really the only fanbase that I think would be annoying off the Internet would be Kanye’s, because he’s such a volatile artist and his recent output has been so inconsistent.

Drake for instance is consistently mediocre and samey, so if you f*** with Drake you’ll reasonably like most of his output, Kendrick has been consistently great so you’d reasonably like most of his output if you enjoy at least some of it.

Kanye meanwhile is all over the f***ing place, so if you’re convinced that everything he’s doing is inline with his best then there’s probably some degree of blind devotion going on on your part. Not to mention the hypebeast element.
