Seems that way, based on what I was told and the energy of the footage I saw. Ye x Julia was there vibing and everyone knew lyrics already. Gimme a sec I'll DM a fresh snippet.
Yooooo wtf
You speak very confidently for someone who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Clipse talked about starting the BAPE trend, some interviewer asked Wayne about it, and he overreacted and s*** on them in a pretty dramatic way. Pusha himself has said this was the issue.
Wayne: I don’t see no f***in’ Clipse. Come on man. Weezy, man. They had to do a song with us to get hot, B. “What Happened To That Boy?” C’mon B. Don’t do that, dog. This is a f***ing legend you’re talking to right here.
Interviewer: Well you know XXL has the….
W: I don’t see niggas like that. You talking to the best. Talk to me like you’re talking to the best. I don’t see no f***in’ Clipse. Come on man. Weezy, man. They had to do a song with us to get hot, B. “What Happened To That Boy?” C’mon B. Don’t do that, dog. This is a f***ing legend you’re talking to right here. 14 years, B. How many years them niggas been around?
I: 2000…
W: Who the f*** is Pharrell? Do you really respect him? That nigga wore BAPEs and y’all thought he was weird. I wore it and y’all thought it was hot. C’mon man. C’mon now. The nigga walked around with niggas that looked like you, y’all thought he was crazy. If I did it, y’all gonna think these niggas are killers.

Do you know if the party was for previewing the finished album or were they just playing stuff to gauge reactions and work on it some more?

My nigga DM me too
Drake and Common were beefing over Serena. Common dropped Sweet. Drake responds on Stay Schemin. Common responds on Stay Schemin (Remix) calling Drake “Canada Dry”. Drake responds dissing ALL OF G.O.O.D. Music on Amen with the line and Good/G.O.O.D aint Good Enough. Which prompted Push to record Exodus 23:1
Don’t forget Push hoped on the Sweet beat to diss Drake
Now the wolves out, hunting for your bling
As you preying on the b****es with the lowest self esteem

I’m with you on this
Like I get the cover but it just looks messy and was solely done to cause controversy
Real one alert
Darkest before dawn so slept on (album/visual album) , its the cocaine runaway
Darkest Before Dawn didn’t click for me until last year
When it first dropped I thought it was pretty boring with bad beats and weak lyrics
Then last year, I randomly decided to relisten in full last year and realized how fire it was
Such weird and unconventional beats and flows I love it
It means nothing but Push became my 2nd favorite rapper officially last year. Just something about his music clicks with me
My top 3 tracks from DBD

Its my go to pusha album tbh Keep Dealing (feat Beanie Sigel) a underrated song
That second prime he’s had post clipse really catapulted him into my personal top 5. he’s been so consistent and consistently getting better. It doesn’t even make sense how inspired he is so late in his career.
Same with me
When he went solo and joined Kanye / hood music, I paid attention to him and he just better from 2011 to now
I gotta say, I’m really not looking forward to the Album thread on here.
Lot of people really showed their worst side for the Dawn FM release and this is gonna be ten times worse.
First album since Adidon and crazed Drake stans gonna be trying everything in their power to pronounce this a flop regardless of it’s creative weight.
Drake Stan’s boutta invade the album thread (I’m assuming this will be the album thread eventually?) and call it trash
And then they’ll make a bunch of threads calling Push trash and since the trash ass mods are Drake Stan’s, they won’t lock them
But it’s okay, we know Push is cookin up a classic
