As for Mr. Thornton, he is lowkey a notorious album delayer. He never meets his own set timeline. But he’s so consistent in the quality of his projects and most of his features, I’m ok with waiting. I think he likes to line up album releases with heavy touring because he goes out on road for a long time usually when he drops. Now with a kid, the pandemic, I think he’s just trying to time it all would be my guess.
