I’ve been working from home for a year now. Haven’t been on a train. I don’t even miss it.

I used to leave my car at the station to catch the train in the morning. It was always packed. Sometimes no seats were available.

I don’t and I don’t mean to be a d*** but goddamn a man can’t enjoy driving around listening to music without y’all saying they’re ruining the earth I work in utilities and there’s literally no way to do that job without a vehicle

Imagine forfeiting the freedom and autonomy of a personal vehicle so you can share a cramped cubicle with a bunch of stinkers on a bus

Obviously cars don’t need to be eliminated fam but do you really think every damn person in this country needs a car??? China uses cars at a rate of 1/12 of the US per capita and their economy, their way of life, is just as stable as ours while they produce less CO2 per capita even factoring in their production of goods for the West
