Normal ssd’s are around 1.5 gbps. Nvme is around 3.5 gbps. And it has been proven game loading times have not decreased with that change. How will another 2gbps change that. I’m being dead ass they could just use a normal ssd not proprietary and it would be the same
The SSD they're using in the PS5 is 5.5 GB/s.
The SSD they're using in the PS5 is 5.5 GB/s.
I’m asking how will another 2gbps on top of that be faster if 1.5 to 3.5 did nothing
I got a PS4 Pro, a One X, a Switch and a relatively new gaming PC but go off
You also got a p**** hole
Imma be real. I can’t tell the difference between normal ssd’s and nvme. How will another gbps change that honest question
That’s different with game consoles though, it’s a closed system so more optimization
So you waiting 4 years
Im a broke student rn lmao can't casually drop $600+ CAD out the sky ya know
At this point I'd just get a PS1 emulator on the PC if I were you fam
yea thats what ive been doin
b ut theres a bunch of ps1 remasters for ps3 on psn that i wish it was available to ps4 like ff tactics

AHhh yes I understand it all makes sense now ![]()
I care more about gaming than specs bro
Playing games on PC is better than playing them on console
I’m asking how will another 2gbps on top of that be faster if 1.5 to 3.5 did nothing
because games right now arent built around the ssd as the default they dont take full advantage of nvme speeds guessing they will now
