Kinda crazy how I have 0 desire for this console, I don't even wanna do a trade in deal. I just think that price is, and the improvements above OG PS5 are just unnecessary, in a way.
I must have bad eye sight since I could barely tell any difference in that showcase
I had to keep looking at the label above to see which was the pro
they were afraid to not label them
basically rented a ps5 for 4 years for $18

wait so did you need the box or not? Or can you just hand them the loose console and cables
why would sony lie?
This is the first time I’m seeing this

Cause they were showing 30fps Fidelity mode(PS5) vs 60fps Fidelity mode(Pro). Pro is using the same graphical detail(with some improved ray tracing, you have to nitpick at to see)as the OG PS5

you need the console, the controller, controller cable, hdmi cable, power cord, and the stand
no box needed
old games dont matter
says user who just saw sony show old games to justify 700$ console
you need the console, the controller, controller cable, hdmi cable, power cord, and the stand
no box needed
Thank you
And why tf does video games need ray tracing? Ray Tracing shouldn't be used beyond CGI/computer simulations, baked lighting does the trick. RT on consumer hardware, is just a way to make the gaming market less cost effective/efficient for the consumer.
Would be 0 need for a Pro if RT wasn't forced on consumers

How long do you think that value will hold? PS5 is my main gaming system so I don't want to sell or trade until I really need to

no clue but seeing that they already f***ed with it today and they are changing s*** around. i assume not long / will change even tomorrow

raytracing on stealth games matters but thats about it and splinter cell is the first one claiming to use "they saw your shadow"
TLOU2 was the worst game for them to showcase since that game is already flawless. FF16, Ff7 rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, Wukong, Space Marines 2, Star Wars Outlaws, and any game struggling with image quality and performance should be night and day
totally agree ff7r could actually benefit from an upgrade
spider-man 2 is imperceptible
alan wake 2 would be nice to play without popin

A game like Splinter Cell would be able to use RT efficiently, because alot of the game is in darkness, so it doesn't need to use so many resources on top of the RT. I expect the Splinter Cell remake to have some State Of The Art shadows.
