Surely it's the perfect time to mention Harry Styles

Majority of his fanbase is rooted in standom people who grew up & thus now want something more mature but the music really isn't worth the praise. He doesn't make music is not worth the hype

Commercial success means the music must be good on some level

    1. folks giving underwhelming rage/trap/mid clones of 'thug, future, uzi or carti' etc. props by saying that 'style is substance'

    2. Musicianship instantly equalling good music

    3. Being able to play an instrument instantly means you are a talented artist/worth praise

    4. The work of insert solo producer here is more worthy of respect than insert producer who has co-producers because they could more easily make a passable finished product without outside help

    5. Addison Rae/Djo/celebs who use their fame pivot to music

    6. 'Why do you not like that this musician is confirmed to have done bad things when you listen to musicians who rap about illegal activities? '

    7. Trying/forcing yourself to like popular music to be in the know/a part of conversation
(Popular, not pop, this isn't exclusive to pop)

    8. Calling albums 'classic' because you like them

    9. Getting annoyed when someone doesn't like music you like/love (when the person who doesn't like it is being genuinely respectful about it)

    10. Dreamville artists (this is not J Cole hate, I am not a J Cole hater), Logic, Amine

    11. Using dated as a blanket term for music that sounds old, as opposed to the more appropriate specific instances where it actually applies. & Dated isn't necessarily a bad thing
(Music can sound timeless even if it sounds old, e.g. I would argue In Square Circle - Stevie Wonder (dated early digital synths) sounds more dated than the music from his 70s run, Happy Birthday's intro would sound fresher with older a***og instead of the Synclavier or whatever early digital synths he used.

    12. 'New music is terrible'

    13. Inflo

    14. Not realising that even underwhelming/mid/bad artists can make good songs/beats from time to time

    Holy manifesto

    Inflo sucks tho.

Backpack niggas who still hate Jay-Z even after they grew up & stopped being on their 'I only listen to underground rap! Def Jux & Rawkus forever :letsfuckinggo: , Def Jam & Roc-A-Fella never :smug2: ' wave

Nas & Jay stans who still hate the other artist vehemently even though both musicians are now friends & patched things up 20 years ago :clapdead:

    Off topic

El Mal Querer better than Motomami

    SBTH is a misunderstood "classic"

Tupac and Biggie the undisputed goats.

    Almighty So

    Bruno Mars

    Lady Gaga

There is no el mal querer>motomami propaganda it’s the exact opposite all her modern fans discovered her during or after motomami

  • Wale wouldve been bigger if he stayed in his hipster bag.
