I'm playing on hard. I can count one one hand how many times I've been ambushed and survived

same. Everytime i get ambushed or someone gets one on me in the field i figure i should close the game & start over. & even if you win it can be such a drain on resources

I got ambushed on hard, got f***ed pretty hard, decided to use the “restart encounter” button and this time the ambush just straight up game overed me instead

Hard does get more tolerable later on but getting ambushed can still drain mad resources if you’re unlucky

Actually its pretty annoying that there is a “restart encounter” button but not a button that will let you exit to the menu. Most of the time I just want to change archetype rather than restart the encounter

lowkey I'm glad the restart exists. at first I was like "why is the game trying to baby me" but sometimes you just experiment & find out what you're actually supposed to do as far as weaknesses too late.

you can tell that this is their love letter to the genre. like i see so many other characters that remind me of old characters. like they were based on archetypes. Hulk reminds me of Freya from FFIX or Heismay reminds me of Frog from Chrono Trigger

you may not know this but I love jrpgs......that was my childhood / adolescence...I just have less time now but I will make the time. Ff7r, Valkyria Chronicles, SMTV, & P5 were the last games i beat. This is a great game

no, my roomies been playing i & I've been watching them, it's weird to see this game that clearly doesn't have the quality of life stuff that the newer games have....but it's still persona & it still looks cool

Should I get this on ps5 or pc

idk if its considered cheesing or not but i keep everyone in the back row from the jump just so that ambushes arent guaranteed wipes (hard mode). then, ya know, just move up who needs to be moved up when attacking. i feel that this will probably backfire down the line though lol

Ahh yea thats prob explains why only the non-american VAs have talked about the game

idk if atlus games get modded a lot but that's a plus i see to coppin on pc. otherwise, the PS5 version runs fine

Just rolled credits, think it’s over. Ending didn’t hit for me, loved the game overall though. 9/10
