Discussion thread for Project Moon games
SCP management simulation game. Extremely unforgiving game, clunky as hell too lmao. Incredible narrative though (this goes for all PM games)
My short thoughts on it here: ktt2.com/what-are-you-playing-105/88
Turn-based, card-deck builder game. Angela's game. Very mechanically engaging. Don't be put off by the reviews, the game may be difficult but if you read carefully and comprehend the traits of the enemies you are facing then you should be good.
The PS4/Switch version released with a JP dub; there is a patch on Steam for this. I do recommend the original Korean voice acting though because it's incredible.
My extremely lengthy post on this game here: ktt2.com/what-are-you-playing-105/97
Turn-based gacha game (Please pay attention during the tutorial). Gameplay borrows quite a few mechanics from Library of Ruina. I'm in the early game so I don't have too much to add here but there seems to be quite a big emphasis on team-building.
Wonderlab - Comic
Distortion Detective - Web Novel
Leviathan - Beginning is comic then last half of it is a web novel
Also you should start Limbus @wes
Just discovered Limbus Company a few days ago and my only complaint about the game is that it has a pretty bad tutorial.
Great story, fun combat and the gacha is very f2p friendly as you can pretty much buy every character ID by basically playing the game (every previous banner is available to buy with character shards too).
No relics, no artifacts, no s***ty substats
Will definitely have to check out Library of Ruina at some point too
I been lazy the last 2 months with doing the weekly mirror dungeon run though so I basically have no lunacy to roll on upcoming banners, but I'm so stacked with the OP IDs from the previous seasons that I have more than enough firepower to get through new content.

I've kinda been eyeing Library of Ruina the past year or two but been too lazy to actually try and start it lol. Based on your recommendation, I'll get on the Project Moon train soon
It's like that?
For me, yes. From what I've seen in the fanbase, when Limbus hits their niche, it REALLY hits their niche.
Intrigued
Limbus Company gonna end as a top 5 game all time
I believe this (because LoR is already one of my fav games of all time), the foundation Limbus is working on is extremely strong too. My biggest worry with this being a gacha though is if the story will actually "end" or if it will continue indefinetely.
Playing Library of Ruina and reading Distortion Detective has shown me though that the amount of stories they can tell from the City really is limitless though so I don't feel Project Moon is in a position where they HAVE to keep Limbus running forever since they can always create something new from this foundation.

I think you will love Ruina man, there really isn't a turn based game like it, its fun as s***

How far are you in Limbus so far?
How far are you in Limbus so far?
Literally only reached Canto 3 (I heard it gets really good at Canto 4) but I have been enjoying it a lot so far already because of how insane the cast dynamic is (Also I am familiar with the book Demian so this Canto being Sinclair focused should be fun)

Man you still got plenty of great stuff ahead. Ya, the cast is amazing I loved them both as individuals and their relationships with each other even early on, and their relationships just get better and better as the story goes on.
As for the books, I actually started reading them in Sinner order cause of the game. I finished up Metamorphosis and Crime & Punishment. Next is Demian.

Based reader. I been thinking of doing the exact same s*** and already bought a few of the books the Sinners were based on (Metamorphosis, Faust and Hell Screen) and yeah I can't wait to get to some of the later Cantos from how much hype surrounds them

The music good?
The music good?
Really good
Mili has a few tracks here for the main boss fights and I love them all.
Also really like how the music for the floors have different phases and they transition depending on how you perform during combat.
Picking up Demian and Moby D*** from the bookstore and the Limbus Company influence is too real
People telling me that the Limbus April Fools event is peak but I'm at work for the next 4 hours and can't play it
Looks like Canto 8 might possibly have (spoilers for April Fools battle mechanic) battles with all 12 Sinners on the field at once?
Canto 3 done
They really adapted the first part of Demian* (literature) into this Canto 3 almost 1:1 and I liked that a lot (especially Demian (character) being some almost supernatural-like entity that solves Sinclair's problems and is always there when Sinclair is facing some internal struggle and needs a guide; they even made a big deal out of the mark in his forehead!).
Again, this was only the first part of Demian* which makes me pretty excited to see what they do with Sinclair since there is still a lot of ground to cover. Demian as a character is an integral part of Sinclair's life so I imagine this definetly isn't going to be the last time I'm seeing him
