cause this is how business works. the owner of the company is always aware of any business deals that happen as they have to approve decisions that call for the corporations name that is owned by him and is part of his legacy/namesake, unless physically unable to like if Jay was sick. it would be bad business for Jay-Z not to keep up with his CEO’s business dealings and to also not answer as to why these students are faced with these difficulties. Because if she wasn't affiliated with Roc Nation they would have sent a cease and desist immediately like any big corporation would do cause once again, that's trademark. The fact the kids already were able to talk their 25k debt down into 5k means that something slipped in the chain of command. You can't be mad that the boss/secretary of the organization (who I'm 110% positive at least knows of the program's existence) is also put into that dilemma because again...he's the boss.
