The reason she's never been successfully pushed as the One (aside from Chuck's boring ass) is bc she's so injury prone. If she's working less she's less likely to be injured and can get the run she deserves.
It’s still by far the biggest promotion in the world and I wouldn’t be shocked if that matters to her. Also helps a lot(honestly I think this helps the most if anything) that she sees Pam get her idea granted with HHH running the show.
Then there’s the “Tony Khan can’t book women right” problem. Would you be surprised if her and Khan clashed in the future? I wouldn’t.
