I’m pretty sure this was at least Matt’s last big run and he was gonna retire after this so Jeff has taken that away from him as well. They were totally washed up (Jeff’s body deterioration in particular has been shocking) but if I’m Tony and I knew the Hardyz wanted their final run and retirement to be in AEW I would push them and showcase them on tv too.
