I prefer Sami to Cody but Cody is the right guy to take it right now. Even if Cody gets boos later on they can always pivot to Sami again (if he still that over by then)

It’s hard for me to find a way you can make Cody v Reigns as compelling as Sami v Reigns. I’m not saying Cody doesn’t deserve the WWE title. It’s a damn step down for Sami to get the tag belts. That’s if they decide to go that way but they probably will tbh.
