Punk added a breath of fresh air into the WWE that is still being felt today. They wouldn’t have gone in the NXT/Indie/Reality direction arguably without Punk’s reception and influence that year. Also Bryan’s too.

They could have had a lot more fun with that Punk run, should have had him defend the title in other promotions for 6 months.

I think Kaz said it best in regards to AEW’s bloated roster. Some guys are cool with playing the sideline. Others want to do something. Neither side is wrong basically. Depends on the talent themselves.
