Thought Cody/Seth was great last night. The injury added a certain type of realness to it. Especially with Seth targeting the chest/arm the entire match. Maybe Seth should’ve won instead but that was my only critique of the entire match. Cody is a machine. Dude went out there and still had a great performance with a f***ing fully torn pec. Much respect to that dude fr
Massive joint NJPWxSTARDOM show at Tokyo Ariake Arena on November 20th announced.
Gonna be some wild mixed tag teams. If we finally get a Tanahashi/Iwatani team this event would be worth it for that.
Seth lost to a mf with one arm thats prob gone for the next 6 months
He gonna try to pull a cena and be back in 4 watch
I’ve never folded on Cody, I been saying for years he was a star , even when he was at his cringiest. last night proved me right again
Sucks he’s injured but that mad man will probably be back much sooner than later
Wonder who’s the mitb winner now if he was that planned one
They’re doing a movie about Mayu Iwatani’s life and the script’s gonna be written by the writer of Netflix’s “Alice in Borderland” and directed by Jun Yoriko who’s got a film in this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
STARDOM about to become mainstream. Mayu apparently had a really traumatic life before wrestling so will be interesting to see how much of that they include.
Seth is the best he’s absolutely ever been. Niggas can cut the s***. Dude talked about AEW and has been hated ever since. Niggas would lose their mind if he popped up in AEW to save Mox or something
And obviously Cody the young GOAT. TNT title scene been in shambles since he been gone lol. I’m still not gonna watch Raw or SDL, but Cody getting me to watch a full WWE PPV is something in itself
Seth been ass the whole time. Admittedly his original singles run made me stop watching WWE and most of that was because of The Authority s*** but he's always felt like a f***ing mark (not wrestling term) to me and a f***ing dweeb
Seth is a WWE Mark, but in no shape or form does it take away his in ring ability. Dude always has been one of the best workers.
He's actually due for another championship reign imo.

Seth gonna win MITB
Seth gonna win MITB
You absolutely right.
and it's gonna keep him interesting all year long, likely until WM.

....am I the only one who can't buy his offense?? He's so soft touch and weightless and everything he does feels like try hard cosplay. Is it Shield nostalgia??

Nah I've always liked Seth work, even when he was Tyler Black in ROH. For me I have a hard time watching any of Romans matches because his moveset is uninteresting

As someone who didn't watch him in ROH and missed all of The Shield stuff since I wasnt watching at the time...I think he's a solid worker just don't care for his erratic shtick or the FREAKIN thing every time they say his name...watched that Cody match with someone last night who isn't normally into wrestling and 5 mins in they were like "can you just mute this and put on some music? These commentators suck!"
Good for Cody pushing through last night even if it was ill advised...I liked their Mania match more though

I 100% agree that the commentators make my ears bleed. I usually do just mute them and watch because they're unbearable.lol

The best thing on WWE commentary hands down.
Everyone else is trash.
Raw's commentating team is abysmal on all fronts.
Idk maybe it's timing but to me he was distant 3rd in the Shield which I would've been more into but I was pretty much hate watching WWE at that point plus their constant flip/flopping from heel to face and frustratingly vague characters put me off a bit, then he was in The Authority which made me stop watching WWE, I came back and he won the title and had a s*** run, blew out his knee, came back and has been 5 flavors of uninteresting. It just always feels like his pretending to be a wrestler. It's like what ppl accuse the Bucks of. Like I can't buy him AT ALL as a tough guy or a fighter.......also hate his f***ing voice. And whatever limp joker impression he's been apparently doing for 3 years is easily the worst s*** (outside him laming up Becky when they were paired together)

All the bookers, gm’s, execs & owners itt laughed at dude for days. “Cody really is stupid. Wow.” Geeks in here writing paragraphs about how he “Over negotiated & Tony called his bluff.” Man bet on himself.
Those same dudes running to WWE television to catch the man next move. Cant make this s*** up.
