WCW ultimately died because it was owned by the network...they basically gave it away to WWE in 2001 bc they no longer wanted to he associated with wrestling programming and Vince swooped in to buy it only to kill it off more with that misfire Invasion angle

After watching it a 2nd time...I don't think I've watched a better match LIVE than Omega/Ospreay...idk how either of them are walking not to mention Kenny wrestling the day after and also having a ladder match next week...such a brutal match that told a great story, set up future matches that could possibly top that, crazy entrances, great commentary...just perfection...rest of the show could have been dog s*** (it wasnt) and that alone would have been worth paying for
& the thing was....they weren't even giving it their all
