That’s where I think that Cody will be the one to face Roman since Sami is now entangled with KO.
Anything with Sami and KO is usually good. I think that is where he should go next instead of a title run. Just because he is a fan favorite doesn't mean he need the big title!

I honestly believe theres a pretty decent chance that Roman retains at Mania regardless of who he faces
If he retains at WM, they have until Summerslam to either dethrone him or retire the WWE belt. The thing is that as legendary this storyline is, it won’t last forever and you don’t want to get to a point where it gets stale. You gotta strike when you have the opportunity.
But Summerslam 2023 is literally the stopping point for Romans reign if he makes it past WM.
