She was a much better wrestler when she first started in the company with Shida so I gotta think she’d come back much better when she’s not wrestling with a herniated disk.

Also think it’s kinda f***ed up when Punk hurt his foot and immediately bounced Tony gave him all the grace period (and probably would have again for the tricep injury if Punk didn’t self destruct after All Out) and yet Rosa worked through a serious back injury for months and when she finally couldn’t do it anymore Tony gets an attitude about it and lets people like Toni and Britt continually bury her.

I think it’s less to do with WWE and just more so the AEW product is in a state of transition with Punk doing what he did and all the changes they had to make because of that.

They’re actually presenting them as a UK team since Giulia was born in London.

When Bryan and Cole showed up at that one ppv, then Punk returned, they had so much momentum. Then Vince resigns and the Punk scrum happens and all the momentum swung the other way. I'm not a super fan of either brand but they peaked with the Punk debut and there's nothing else they could pull off that would get close to the interest that did. Esp with Triple H being in charge now, there's not going to be near as many defections from WWE as their were before. They were never really going to be as big as WWE but they def had their chance to be taken seriously and they kinda let it slip away. I'm not saying they are going out of business or anything but Id be surprised if they ever reach the levels they were around Punks comeback.

I agree he shouldn't be letting ppl Bury her over it bc he's the one who made the interim decision there...that being said I disagree with the rest...I think he was being more than fair by not stripping her of the title...he even said in the media call today that he wants to give her the chance to come back still rather than taking the title off her

But that’s the thing. If it was Punk with the same injury he wouldn’t think twice about stripping him halfway through his recovery like he is with Rosa.

Dave and SRS have made it pretty clear that Rosa has heat with TK and he thinks she’s milking it. So it doesn’t surprise me at all that Tony’s letting the other girls bury her and is itching to take the actual belt off her.

I have a feeling there is gonna be loads of melodrama during the mens war games match
