Adding it to a card is kinda odee but I get why they would have the performers wear a patch. This is wrestling's equivalent to the Super Bowl or NBA Finals and those who make it that far get a patch so this is honestly pretty cool to me

Agreed, the turn was fantastic and shocking but the follow-up just wasn't there. Only so much Cody can do by himself when Cena's a part-time heel and they hardly touch on his involvement with The Rock so it all just came across as muddy

Doesn't help that Cena didn't even get into a real promo battle with him until their last interaction and hasn't been seen since lol

Mariah’s been pitching herself to WWE way before she started wrestling. This shouldn’t be surprising.

This is an uphill battle AEW has to fight with talent that grew up on WWE being the “big leagues” and etc.

She had a nice run and elevated not only herself but Toni Storm also. Talent signing short term contracts keeps things fresh, I still think Mariah has a lot to offer in AEW.

yea Cena a couple weeks in Europe (with chants dominating the promos) and Rock completely missing isn’t doing any favors for this

I don’t think they’ll be doing Europe for the Mania build in the future lol, RAW being on at 3pm didn’t help either

Here’s the thing about Mariah May: she’s a beautiful woman, decent in the ring, and average on the mic. She was involved in one of the best women’s stories AEW ever put on, and while she did her best let’s be honest Timeless Toni Storm carried her the whole way with her brilliant method acting. We’re witnessing a generational women’s championship run and now we’ve seen the emergence of a new monster in Megan Bayne, so I think AEW will be just fine bc it’s soooo difficult finding attractive, athletic blonde women who want to be on TV. Hope she enjoys going to Trump rallies and partying with the likes of JD Vance and Kid Rock
