Well to be fair, AEW needed some midcard championships tbh. The trios titles were a little bit of a reach but with the number of factions that they have, it makes sense. Now they don't need another title. If anything they need to retire the FTW championship that HOOK is carrying around cause it's useless.lol

I agree with everything else tho. ROH needs a place and a place soon because it is indeed crowded, to dump the ROH titles there. That will hopefully open up some room with the new TV deal. (I'm assuming ROH will take Elevation and/or Dark's place) The issue is that they don't have enough TV time for the number of wrestlers that they have, so nothing really seems consistent at the moment.

The ROH stuff is smart to me.

People are constantly complaining that people on the roster aren’t showing up enough? Well ROH is another hour of programming to use talent on. And the reason the titles are showing up is because Tony’s making sure the titles and ROH are as high value as possible when negotiating with Warner Bros Discovery. Jericho’s def a big part of that as a top draw for the ROH show.

I agree that the AEW shows feel somewhat crowded rn but it’s a worthy sacrifice to get ROH platformed.
