There's a whole compilation of people in the company not ignoring the chants over the years

  • Oct 27, 2022

Story changes every week lol. Big Dave had a melt down over nobody talking about it to him to suddenly everyone calling Punk a liar?

It’s just weird lmaoooo. If this really did happen and it comes out now, I’d have to think Punk feels really dumb over the whole thing and really wants to stay in AEW.

Those that love the elite are going to SRS/Meltzer and those that love Punk are filtering their stories to other “journalists”

Dave’s made it absolutely clear throughout all of this that he’s been getting Punk’s side of it and called out Punk for his BS at the scrum when Punk’s been calling him up for the past year looking for dirt from Dave.

I think that he’s made no bones about this whole “dog got hurt” story being fabricated because that’s never been mentioned once since All Out night between them and it would be a slam dunk for Punk in terms of the investigation and public perception of the incident.

Then where did this whole, punk was told not to talk and agreed come from? The story changes every week and it’s “well this camp told me this and this camp told me that”. I’m positive that sadly Punk is gone. Yet none of this ever makes sense. TK/AEW never commented on it which in my opinion is good and bad. Yet now, you have filled fans brains with conspiracy theories and many of the people involved social media accounts drowning in negative bullshit. Who do you believe at the end of the day, when the #2 organization in pro wrestling isn’t even commenting on it? Do we take a game of telephone between carny journalists as gospel?

Now we’re in this never ending cycle of never knowing the actual story because some p**** ass wrestlers won’t step up and tell their side without sending some weed carrier to Dave and etc. lol. It’s like high school with this s***

I find it hard to believe that Punk was in Dave’s ear like that. It took Dave weeks to report on Omega burying the locker room with the whole I wouldn’t hire 80% of you. While everyone else was coming out saying that from Omega. Yet Dave played it as “a joke to Ospreay” when the dude isn’t even signed to AEW LOL.

Dave talked about stuff like that in the latest WOR.

A couple of other random notes on this from WOR this morning.
Meltzer said the investigation "is over" and you can tell how it ended based on who is on tv and who is not. He said that as far as he knew, they were still working on Punk's buyout but it's also possible that it's been completed. Meltzer said that Punk was clearly unhappy with the results of the investigation, considering this statement and that Punk stressed that no one had interviewed Steel's wife. He also said the Elite are "not allowed" to talk about the situation, so we may never hear their side of the story. Meltzer said that after All Out Punk "researched" whether Hausman and Cabana were still friends and when he confirmed they were not he apologized to Hausman.
Meltzer believes that if the investigation found both sides at fault then both would be back.
ETA- Alvarez and Meltzer also both said that the story from Punk's side had been fairly consistent since All Out- that Punk believed that the fight was inevitable and so that's why he started swinging first. At no point was it said to them that Punk started swinging because Larry was hurt.

The reason Punk has started talking all of a sudden is because it would have hurt him during the investigation and now he’s unhappy about the result.

If he hasn’t got enough credible information to report on stuff he tries not to.

A lot of the other reporters don’t bother tho.

I don’t know, again few weeks ago he was on a meltdown about not getting information and how AEW is unprofessional with this. Yet now has all the details, I would have to think Dave based this all off assumption with the Elite promo package. Punks injured and most likely in a talks of a buy out but I’m still on the fence of nobody knowing s*** and those picking favorites on who they talk to. I’ll believe it when I see it with Punk. I’m not excusing anyone for what happened. Just tired of the constant back and forth lol.
