In general AEW used to have a free flowing, non-"by the numbers" kinda feel even with stuff like mjf being friends with the biggest babyface in the company, that great video with the inner circle, the brawl that started with cody in the ring, going up to the skybox and into the concession stands, etc. Making things less chaotic has improved and streamlined the presentation but caused stuff to get stale and predictable and I think Tony just needs to mix the best of both styles
