• Meltzer emphasizes 100% that Sammy did not throw the punches. He attributes Andrade's motive to his wanting to be fired.

• Meltzer says that the most pro-Andrade accounts he's heard are that Sammy said something to him before getting sucker punched by Andrade and that Sammy shoved Andrade after being spun around by Andrade.

• Andrade was warned when he came to work that getting in a fight with Sammy would not get him out of his contract. Andrade said he wouldn't do anything and then started something.

• Andrade was waiting for Sammy in the hallway. There were multiple witnesses. It was 2-3 punches before being broken up. Many, many witnesses.

• Meltzer says that these ex-WWE signings are severely backfiring because of all these people wanting to go back. He says they aren't many, maybe 3-4, but that they are locker room cancer.

Turns out Sammy didn’t start it. And Andrade is trying to get fired which is both insane and hilarious. Imagine having to tell your employee that assaulting someone at the workplace will NOT get him fired.

It sucks that some of these guys really came to AEW just to wait for a phone call back to WWE.

AEW will be fine, but it is annoying that the backstage nonsense is overshadowing the show itself. The Elite running the show or being EVPs was a problem from the start. It set the precedent of f boys like Sammy, etc.

Honestly WWE is fine with the talent that they have, and AEW needed to let loose some as well as it was getting bloated.
