He said stuff Punk didn't like being said and didn't approve beforehand...it certainly was a line that stood out but not to where I was like "oh there's real beef there!"...like others have said MJF and Eddie dropped crazier lines when they were feuding with him but he probably okay'd that...jeopardizing the million dollar gate is just Punk saying he wasn't gonna show due to feeling disrespected...that line didn't effect sales one bit

It's a pretty big nonsequitur in the promo he just unpromptedly says "you claim to be about worker's rights but you've shown the opposite sense you've been here". Punk never said that on TV and only ever played a big babyface who loved the young people on TV.

MJF actually said the opposite with the PG Punk s*** and everything Eddie says a worked shoot.

Seems Punk feels Hangman f***ed up his earning potential as a top babyface by trying to paint him as a bad guy irl to hardcore fans. That 50/59 response in Chicago and MJF getting cheered over him was probably the last straw

I think AEW got too much talent at this stage, and Tony should either cut it down, or alternatively bring in more writers to have more cohesion with the storytelling because it's difficult to follow.
