GizTruthfully MJF is the one that loses due to Punk being suspended. That would've definitely put him over, and I think the promo of his return would've been better had Punk still been champion. They had to pivot obviously, so they went to his comfort zone regarding booking. Sucks, but Punk highkey ruined MJF's growth, he'll be straight though.
And Punk doesn't care that he did too...

Everyone in that women’s match working their hardest pace and then having to slow down for Britt was wild. And then he keep her legs hooked on the Fallaway/Samoan combo and gets her nose broken. S*** is embarrassing. Athena really upped her stock with that one too. She was in diesel mode.
