I think everyone is on the same stance that punk did handle things a wrong way, right?

Look at WWE/Fox, does anyone remember when WWE sent all its most popular names to Fox to “sell” the company? Rousey being signed is what they needed to get that deal, the TV executives needed recognizable names. They sent all its part timers to FOX (Cena, Bella Twins, Rousey, and a few others)

Let’s say Warner doesn’t renew and Punk isn’t around, who do you send? The Young Bucks and Omega, who are mostly known by your hardcore fan base?

I don’t think that’s above not turning your locker room into juve in terms of priorities for AEW.

They did all the television upfronts and parent company meetings for years without Punk and they were fine.

Just send Jade Cargill, she passes every eye test.

tony doesn’t want to be a regular on screen character, but he should be starting the show tonight with some sort of address. maybe a sit down pretape deal with jr.

The Bucks are dorks but Punk took an in-house matter & turned it into an out-house one.

I believe the one that was looking for a fight was the one that aired out all the dirty laundry to the public when that s*** at least could have been attempted to resolved behind close doors.

Ain’t nothing wrong admitting that the Bucks are dorks and Punk is a bozo.

    I'm not saying he isn't.

But I doubt anyone would be suspended or fired if it didn't get physical.

Bucks barging down that door (if true) is provocation

if they’re doing an internal investigation, i can’t imagine punk and steel being fired until that’s completed.

We now know it’s an external third party investigation.

Now that nigga Colt Cabana should want Punk 6 feet under

All that bullshit about the checking account and having it with his mother was unnecessary. Especially when a report didn’t ask about it

If they fire Steel and hand down a suspension to Punk, don’t see how that doesn’t end with him quitting.

I really don’t see a scenario where Punk is still with the company by the end of the week

Punk’s a martyr at the best of times.

Can’t see Steel getting fired being any different.

Hard to feel any other way. Think everyone honestly handled it the wrong way.

  • Sep 7, 2022

punk ain’t quitting over steel. he’ll just take care of him.

And people giving him serious responses

You so mad this entire thread don’t follow your every beck and call.

You a homophobe, society already looks down on you without hearing your opinions on wrestling.

This whole situation was bad beginning to end.

I think we're past the entertainment aspect of it.

The only other person that comes to mind that held an executive position while being active talent is Triple H but by that time he was a part timer doing Mania and Saudi matches.

The Elite being there every week and winning titles is a whole other thing

The fact they’re just being suspended and Punk and Steel’s verdict is still hanging over their heads sounds like The Elite didn’t provoke violence and AEW HR is making sure their t’s are crossed and their i’s are dotted before taking action against the two of them.

HHH was still winning titles in an executive position.

He headlined WM32 as champion in 2016.

It’s hard for me to see Punk getting fired. I am sure he’ll do what he can do to put it past him. A lot of money on the table and WWE hates him.

It would be a huge mistake to fire Punk without MJF beating him to win that title

I also think a lot of this s*** can get talked out or at least watered down with time.

Punk has about 2 more years in him and it would be a shame to waste that

I feel like many don’t care. Social media isn’t as big as we think it is.

Firing him would just make this an even bigger thing
