Exactly. As soon as it’s a message someone disagrees with, then they wanna hate. Whatever your thoughts on Predator / Hansen are, I think it’s just objectively true that using his likeness and his name to defame him in a sensational way while preaching how his show was sensationalist ruins the point of what you’re saying and makes your movie cheap and nonsensical

Basing a movie on a hit piece alone is a choice. Its getting pushback by some. i am seeing it regardless for visuals and directing style. Really just for pattiinson.

Difference is that even if they made up things about Zuckerberg and co, the prevailing message of the movie was very accurate and the sentiment wasnt hypocritical because certain facts were wrong

I mean social network also only fabricated so much and Zuckerberg winded up being exactly who they said his character was. Hansen for the past 20 years has done a kickstarted youtube show and continued to catch predators whith no obsession over ratings at all. Jerry Springer would be one thing
