I can’t imagine Skylar stealing a movie or stealing a scene. Love him in some stuff but damn they must’ve given him some crazy stuff to do. The guy he’s based on got his mind melted by his time on the show and greatly regretted his time on it and what it lead to

Dan Schrack, who answered a random casting call thing for a show not knowing what he was in for. Said he needed the money and a couple grand an episode seemed good, but the act of having to play a decoy in front of a real predator was something that f***ed with him. There’s a big story about how it all ended for the show and for him but seems like it’s the movies plot so don’t wanna spoil for those who don’t know. Amazing article about it if u want a link. I believe the movie is based on the article, which is how they’ve gotten around copyright or likeness issues

Also a documentary called Predators from last year that tackled a lot of the murky grey areas that this movie seems to

The Batman is one of the worst movies this decade. Garbage copaganda with a seriously contrived diet zodiac story. Batman kills a bunch of people on the highway cuz he doesn’t know Spanish grammar. Yikes

The lighthouse was very good but not at the level of those films. Also Dafoe absolutely outshines Pattinson in it

Even though it’s not really the same, seeing this movie’s subject matter made me think of the fact that I’m lowkey kind of surprised there hasn’t been any attempt to make a film about the show Jerry Springer, especially the very early episodes.
