Yall think we'll ever know the truth?

If it was done by the US then yeah probably in a decade or so

Unless someone spills the beans earlier like what happened in the 2019 Bolivian coup

Whatever is going on here is definitely complex, I don't believe it's as simple as "the US did it again". It's not because I believe the US is incapable of it or because the US is a shining beacon of foreign policy. The thing is that it simply doesn't make sense.

Let's separate this out into two different categories - how did this happen and why did it happen. For the former, watch that video of the assassination - like actually watch it. Does that REALLY sound like an American accent to you? It sounds like someone mimicking an American accent - like someone is basing their accent off of what Americans sound like in movies. Secondly, why would they just shout "WE'RE THE DEA", literally announcing who they are if this is an assassination? Also, how is their footage of the assassination only, but not footage of the guards - of which were reported present by Haiti themselves - being disarmed (afaik)? Did the guards simply step down? It just doesn't line up.

However, for devil's advocate's sake, let's say this was the US - why? Haiti is not Peru - there is no Pedro Castillo about to take office. It's not Bolivia - there's no leftist party vying for electoral power. In fact, it's the opposite - Jovenel Moïse was a stark businessman with multi-million dollar investors. He was also blatantly corrupt, and faced constant opposition from protests as he and his administration pocketed government funds. In 2019 there were serious anti-government protests (look up Port-au-Prince protests) which have know been blown aside form the media since they don't care about it. So what does the US have to gain from this, given a corrupt capitalist president would likely be better for US interests from a cynical perspective? I'm not sure what arguments can be made here except hyper-conspiratorial stuff (I've already seen people say this is part of a Q-Anon conspiracy because he was going to tell the truth about Clinton raping kids in Haiti lol), or stuff which is mostly detached from reality.

What's even more bizarre is what happened after the assassination. They went to the...Taiwanese Embassy (canberratimes.com.au/story/7334484/haiti-asks-us-to-send-troops-to-country/?cs=14264)? What suspects would seek refuge in a Taiwanese embassy, no less if they're Colombian (as reported here)? It seems detached from logic.

However, one thing I do want to note is this - prior to be president, Moise had a history of growing businesses through large bulks of "anonymous investors". You can find older articles/documentation (including on Wikipedia) which show his old businesses (Agritrans SA specifically) received in the range of $10-30M in anonymous investment. Furthermore prior to his election, you can find the money and auditing of his business history is quite shady, and involves levels of government embezzlement and corruption. One thing to note is that much of the aid he embezzeled through the business did not come from the US - rather it came from South American countries including Venezuela (miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/americas/haiti/article231122978.html) albeit it this debt was later waived. The thing is though is if you trace the money, my point is you can see his administration (more, him himself) has a history of shady monetary transactions by funneling money entering the country.

Did he take money from an american billionaire who set up a hit on him? I mean, Coca-cola funded death squads in Colombia at one point (telesurenglish.net/news/Colombia-Coca-Cola-Accused-of-Funding-Terrorist-Paramilitaries-20160901-0005.html). Did he abuse aid or embezzling in a manner which finally caught up to him? Who knows.

Seventeen Colombians and two Haitian Americans from South Florida are in custody in Haiti. A person who interviewed the detained Colombians in Haiti told the Miami Herald that the men claimed to have been recruited to do work in Haiti by an under-the-radar firm in Doral /FLORIDA/ called CTU Security. It is run by a Venezuelan émigré, Antonio Enmanuel Intriago Valera.

Multiple sources in Haiti, requesting anonymity for their safety, have confirmed to the Herald that the detained men said they were hired by CTU, and several of the men indicated they had been in Haiti for at least three months, some longer. It is unclear if they knew or believed CTU leaders were aware of the assassination plot.

He said the suspects, including the Haitian Americans, confirmed that they worked for a company “based in the U.S .and Colombia. They worked with the two Haitian Americans and a high-profile doctor here.”

Those versions square with what family members of captured Colombians are now saying.

WW3 won’t be fought with nukes, don’t kid yourself.

We’ve been living through WW3 since the Cold War. Intelligence agencies are a country’s true strength. Not f***ing militaries.
