    It definitely is

Idk what happened but should just give up the jewelry tbh but even then nigga would still kill You

f***ed up thing about it is we all end up dead one way or the other.

like you kill me today but it's simply a matter of time before you follow me to the grave.

i feel like on some psychological level, everyone is aware of this.

it makes me feel like these things aren't products of derangement or some s*** but are statements on the current condition of society.

if it wasn't PNB Rock it'd be someone else. like the dude who failed to rob Sauce Walka, literally went down the street and found another well off dude who *was also armed, robbed and killed him.

i haven't studied the psychology behind this s*** but i feel like there needs to be a reframing of violent acts. i think it was Carol Tavris who once said "true pathology is rare", this s*** seems very much a product of society, the wealth and comfort comes with the scarcity and violence, the two drive each other in a weird way.

Jealousy and envy of another person's possessions and life is a big driving force I bet. S***s sad cause it's never worth it. it's NEVER worth it in the end smh i think about Trouble, Dolph, X, and now PNB all of these situations could've been avoided smh

Thats a horrible parralel dude lol.

Women can be in hoodies and get raped, a rapper doesn’t have to wear an entire mortgage on they goddamn neck or arm.

you can get killed for not having anything worth robbing. it's happened a countless number of times.

they shouldn't be drawing that parallel but the reason behind condemning the victims do stem from a similar place.

Well niggas gotta bring up rapper examples cause the only “conscious” rappers anyone’s said was homie from Nappy Roots. And that was something personal due to a disgruntled employee of his restaurant.

Cyhi was also not random at all.

the criticism of PNB wearing chains and jewelry that I see feels like the male equivalent of when people lecture women for wearing revealing clothes - “stop doing that, you’re inviting people to rape you!”

it’s sad as hell that mfs can’t even dress the way they want to without other people feeling entitled to do or justify some hoe s***

What 😂 You in the hood with 30k around your neck.

I wonder who’s gonna be the first rapper to die of old age
I think Ice T or any rapper in the late 70s/early 80s (not age wise but year wise)

no it’s not. dudes get mugged, jumped and shot at for wearing way less also. Trayvon Martin got shot for wearing a hoodie

My point is people - both men and women - shouldn’t have to be scrutinized for the s*** they choose to wear based on how dumb mfs will judge and react. but sadly that is the world we live in

I mean ig what you mean but you kinda have to have that mindset in certain areas
And judging by that Ak clip from over a week ago he was aware because this already happened to him before

  • Sep 13, 2022

lotta people forget a lack of awareness in general just makes you open season to get clapped, bro pulled up in a maybach in a dangerous area to a eatery and didn't expect to get pressed? cmon man.

this is one of those strange things people have decided is bad

in any other situation, we tell people what precautions they should take to lower their odds of being victims

"keep an eye on your passport and cell phone when traveling."
"make sure you lock your car and ensure no valuables are visible"
"lock your door before you leave the house"

    etc.

why is it wrong to tell someone not to wear $100k of jewelry in a bad neighborhood or be wary of how they dress when out?

obviously it is the fault of the criminals and not the victim. but we know criminals are out there so it's important to do things to lower your odds of being victimized

    In South LA.

If it was like in Long Beach or any reputable area, the killer would’ve been found.

    S*** might be cold.
