Yes they would and they have done it to lesser known acts. Murder and robbery isn’t a race thing, when people see a lick in plain sight they jumping on the opportunity or setting up for later.

I don’t live in NYC only visited so I don’t wanna speak on somewhere I’m not from but from everything I picked up in my visits and from people who actually live there, it’s a matter of knowing how to move so you aren’t a mark. In my limited experience I saw enough to know someone who doesn’t know how to move can easily get robbed/scammed

there are people who unfortunately have nothing so when they see someone with expensive things their only thought is “i want it” and their situation makes them so scared and upset that they choose robbing. it’s such a sad situation and it’s affects so many in poverty
