BnBallinTooI see alot of people that still can not realize the hypocrisy of supporting Ukrainians against Russian invasion and support sanctions, but refuse to support Palestinians against Israeli occupation.
Ukrainians fighting back is "resistance", but Palestinians fighting back is "terrorism".
I blame the mainstream media tbh. We do not talk about how influential the media is on how we think is right or wrong.
this is literally so heartbreaking
my mind literally snaps when i think about the blatant hypocrisy

I can see how Putin is facing more resistance than expected maybe (who knows what he expected), but I can't see how it could supposedly be going so overwhelmingly well for Ukraine if they're releasing prisoners to fight in the war

Of course the invasion is automatically gonna mean loss, I mean in how they're resisting the invasion. I've seen a lot of circlejerking about how they're winning among Western libs who are unfamiliar with the fog of war because this is the first war that they've really followed on a day-to-day basis.

the handover back to China from the UK occured in 1997 which went over fine
However the fierce protests you might be thinking of occurred in 2019-2020 over an extradition bill proposed that would allow people to go to trial in China, which the HK population were against because they'd get an unfair trial or receive poor treatment there.
