after world war 2 the world retooled its entire global infrastructure and became globalized, and as opposed to being empire-based it became a rules-based global order system. In 1944 Bretton Woods happens. 1946 was the United Nations. 1947 was the general agreement on tariffs and trades. 1949 was NATO. 1950 was the European Union. These are the superinfrastructure of the world that we’ve all grown up in. This is the centralized power of globalization. And that was all put in place to avoid what had happened in the past (ww1&ww2)

First of all its not just that someones a marxist on here, theres mostly ML (which i'd consider myself on a basic level), and then I think some MLM - maoist, and then there's socialists who don't like to focus their socialism on just white dudes like marx engels and lenin and take from other leaders and writers from around the world

I will say there is a bit of an intentional circle-jerk about communism on here, just to have a sense of humor because if one took the discourse too seriously they would be stressed tf out, the capitalists/imperialists got a lot of the leverage right now.

And with that I say that if one is a true socialist then it's impossible for them to NOT have a moral compass because it's about restoring the regular persons ability to get proper compensation for the hard work they put in and about putting an end to the exploitation of work, everywhere, to address one aspect. Yes there is plenty of "Fuck the US" for being imperialist and sloppy f***ed up foreign policy that's plagued the planet since WW2 but why shouldn't we call that bullshit out at every turn?
