How did dealing with the violent extremists later on work out in Afghanistan? They shoulda been dealt with way before, as me and others have said. If Ukraine needs arms, tell them to kick Azov out their military and disavow them. If they're not willing to do that then they're either a more significant part of the resistance than I initially thought, or the government is more sympathetic to Nazism than I was initially lead to believe

In either case, I'm gonna oppose my government arming them, and so should everybody else who doesn't want to see Afghanistan 2.0 but with Nazism instead of Islamic fundamentalism.

I was under the impression they were not the “popular” party in Ukraine and got mopped in the last election. So we turn a blind eye because they are anti-Russia. Foreign policy isn’t pretty and usually involves enemy of my enemy type of s*** a lot more than we are told through the American media. But pulling troops out during an invasion is suicide.

Instantly more than what Russia spends on their military btw. But i think this is a one time thing tho. Investing in the German military wasnt popular for years for obvious reasons, so its more to get them on track again

Azov is not a party, it's a Nazi militia that has its own unit in Ukraine's military. And I know that foreign policy is full of "enemy of my enemy is my friend" s***, but when that enemy is giving military training to people in Europe to people who want people like me to be sent out the country at best and killed at worst, that's cerainly not my friend and I'm gonna oppose giving them any type of material support no matter what.

And listen to this Ukrainian Nazi who is part of a Nazi group that worked with police in Kyiv to drive out Roma families explain why their small numbers aren't proportionate to the influence of Ukrainian Nazis in the first 2-3 minutes here:
