Ukraine is the only country in the world that has
1. An openly Neo-Nazi group named after a racist phrase, paid as the official city special police (not just any city, but the capital + several other cities)
And
2. An openly Neo-nazi paramilitary working alongside the state military in an official capacity
All going on for several years before this invasion
It is in no way comparable to any other country in the world as far as the institutionalization of open Nazis goes.

I'm not ukrainian, but I am Latvian and Latvia has 100% had its fair share of russian takeovers. And I can confidently say that most Latvians would easily choose to be poor and free over being better off but politically part of Russia.
actually it's quite complex because in the Soviet times they killed hundreds of thousands of Latvians and shipped in hundreds of thousands of Russians to try and erase the culture. Now a really sizable chunk of people living in Latvia are actually just Russian. and I doubt they would feel as strongly about Latvian independence

Because the military industry complex gets billions from this and so do US energy companies after Russian gas gets cut off. It is worth it for them.
Germany alone pledged 100 billion euros for their military this year. How much of that goes to Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon...

but if you still cant justify attacks on civilian areas because a population has an alt right problem, by that logic you'd be ok with terrorists blowing up skyscrapers in NY because of the alt right problem in america (im not saying you are ok with this im jsut using this as an example as to why its still important to support ukraine in this scenario)
