I genuinely sympathize with Ukrainians and anyone fighting against imperial powers invading their sovereignty.

I'm sure this has been discussed in here already in some capacity.

But as I read media reporting on this invasion, I can't help but feel down about how the same terminology and common logic is not applied to my people in Palestine and many other people of the world.

This whole thing is a case study of why western liberalism really falls short for the rest of the world because for us, we are still noted as barbarians and uncivilized in comparison to europeans as noted by CBS News. Direct quote "....but this isn't a place like Iraq or Afghanistan, this is a relatively civilized, relatively European..."

All this aside, f*** imperialism and world powers using the rest of the world as a chessboard.
