A Russian occupation would be fruitless and only further contributive to the collapse of the oligarchy

I don't think russia wants to occupy

I think they want to damage the Ukrainian military and install a russia friendly government, then dip. Which is why ukraine won't surrender, because that would allow russia to deligitimise the government as western opportunists who didnt actually care

But with that being said I do hope this is over as cast as possible, I don't at all want a long bloody war and neither should anyone who isn't a psychopath

Ukraine should be neutral and was for a long time. Any other take is basically asking for instability and war in that region. You can't put NATO missiles right next to Russia. Just like you can't put USSR missiles in Cuba.

Its twitter and not verified, but in war a lot of weird things happen. Every human can be a monster.

That thread also shows another vid where they claim Ukranian forces are opening fire on civilians cause they're looking for 'saboteurs' for some reason. Ofc don't know if true, but could be

To be fair, cultural genocide is identified by the UN, where you're forced to gibe up culture.

Mass displacement and detention without execution can be seen as genocide if the un definition is deployed

I don’t think there’s cultural genocide either. Much of the motivation was because of terrorist attacks in 2017 and aimed to introduce deradicalization projects to the population

China has like 20,000 mosques as of 2021. Those mosques would’ve been erased or at least massively reduced in number in the last four years when they haven’t

Once again, the means of this is deplorable but I still can’t accept the term of genocide

There’s other Muslim minorities in China who aren’t subject to these conditions either
