FlapheadSo I see the points of @Regard and @ShintaroKago but how does dissolving NATO at this moment not lead to anything other than unimpeded Russian aggression? Again genuine question. I just don’t see how any conciliation will appease Putin at this point
also question, NATO has been around since the 20th century, has had decades worth of time to expand its influence, and only now Russia responds so it’s kinda not fair to expect Russia to sit back when NATO has been around for 20+ years

I would’ve naively assumed the implicit threat of MAD would keep both at bay up until roughly 2014
