I'm a Communist but I'm also a Maoist so I have somewhat differing views than MLs or those who feel China can do no wrong.

In my opinion, there's no real side worth supporting and from a strictly communist perspective the proletariat of either country gains nothing from this war.

NATO/US are wrong for their provocations, couping Ukraine's government in 2014 and putting Ukraine in a situation where this could happen.

Ukraine's government is full of fascists plus they have been breaking the ceasefire with the DPR/LPR and bombing citizens. Ukraine is also trying to force it's citizens into combat by telling 60 year olds they can't leave and handing them assault rifles.

Russia obviously doesn't want nato on it's borders but a complete invasion of Ukraine is just to serve it's own goals.

The only people to support here is the working class of both countries as they're forced into war and displaced by several capitalist governments.
